Annabelle was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2018, after completing a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of London and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Bond University.

Prior to joining CJM Lawyers in January 2026, she built extensive legal experience in Malaysia, including leading debt recovery litigation, managing complex family law matters, and heading a property law and conveyancing department. She has appeared independently in Magistrates’, Sessions, and High Courts, with advocacy experience in English within a Commonwealth common law jurisdiction.

Notably, she successfully secured sole custody for a one-year-old child in her first year of family law practice at the High Court.



Annabelle is multilingual, fluent in English, Mandarin, Malay, and Cantonese, and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Professional degree in International Relations at Bond University, which is to be completed by June 2026. She brings a wealth of cross-jurisdictional experience, advocacy knowledge, and client-focused insight to her role in family law at CJM Lawyers, and we’re honoured to have her part of our team.
